Wiring for Astra Power Steering Pump
Thick Red – Battery Power (80A)
Thick Brown – Chassis ground
Black – Connect to Switched positive to activate pump
Blue – Connect to Switched positive to activate pump
(connect Black and Blue together, to a switched positive circuit to activate the pump)
Brown – do not conect
The pumps draw approx 15A when idle, and between 15-35A when steering, upto 75A at full steering lock
